Le Ri, the fine dining restaurant, and Evgeny Ksenofontov, head sommelier at the Mantera Supreme Seaside Hotel, invite you to a Wine Club meeting—a journey through the most vibrant wine regions of the New World, where boldness, ambition, and respect for terroir create world-class wines. This evening will challenge the traditional view of California, Chile, and Australia. We will debunk the myth that the New World is only about vibrant, fruity wines and discover how new-generation winemakers are creating wines that can rival the recognized European classics.
A cozy gathering awaits you, featuring conversations about wine, where each glass reveals its own story. You'll learn about the philosophy of the legendary Paul Hobbs, discover how the alliance between Baron Rothschild and Chilean winemakers gave the world the iconic Almaviva, and uncover the secret of Australia's famous "Dead Hand"—a wine born from the remarkable qualities of old vines. The experience will be complemented by a culinary pairing from concept chef Ilya Zakharov's signature menu—carefully selected flavor combinations that will help reveal the character of each wine and demonstrate how multifaceted and elegant the New World can be.
Theme of the evening: New World. Rebels, billionaires, and terroir.
Format: In-person only, limited to 15 guests.
Guests will be arriving at 6:00 PM.
Dress: Formal wear.
